On the cross-country trails in the Pustertal valley

Psssst! Come here! We have secret tip for your - a tip from one mate to another. The 40 kilometres of sun-kissed cross-country trails on the deep snow of the floor of the Gsiesertal valley are ideal for cross-country trips - both for traditional skiing or skating. And the best is yet to come: The trails start about 500 metres from our guesthouse and go from Taisten to Welsberg, where you can switch to the Pustertaler Marathon trail going to Niederdorf, Pragser Tal, Toblach and other directions. After an active day you can store your cross-country skis securely in our ski cellar.

Tips for cross-country skiing enthusiasts

The biathlon centre in Antholz is also nearby. You should check it out. You can find other suggestions for cross-country trails and tours in the Gsiesertal and in the Kronplatz skiing area on the Panorama map that you receive free of charge when you stay with us. A really special highlight is the Gsieser Tallauf cross-country skiing run that has been held regularly over the last 33 years in the Gsiesertal valley. Any cross-country skiing enthusiast who is reasonably fit can take part - even children.
