Tesido (1.200 m)
The village of Tesido is located in the middle of lush alpine pastures and surrounded by imposing mountains. It is a popular starting point for numerous hikes through woods, meadows and nearby mountains.
Make sure to visit the Malga di Tesido, a beautiful mountain pasture which is popular with hikers and mountain-bikers in the summer and (with its 7 km long toboggan run) with tobogganists in the winter.
Welsperg Castle
Learn about local culture and traditions at Welsperg Castle. Above you can see a view of the medieval castle from our guesthouse and, in the background, the Dolomite peak of Pico di Villandro (2.839 m), which can be reached from Prato Piazza.
Open-Air Swimming Pool
During the summer months, you can pay our local swimming pool a visit, which is only a 5 minutes’ walk from our guesthouse.
Winters
During the winter, our local ski lift operates daily from 9 am until 4 pm. In addition, there are several toboggan runs and hiking paths, along which you can find some small restaurants serving delicious local dishes. Also worth mentioning is the fact that the Tesido ice skating rink is free of charge.
