Skiing holidays in Val Pusteria

Skiing

The joy of skiing in snow flurries

A ski cellar with boot dryer and a connection to the ski bus just in front of our guesthouse - what better start to your skiing holiday in the Kronplatz holiday region? The free public transport (bus, train) goes every half hour to both the Kronplatz and Sextner Dolomiten skiing areas and to the cross-country skiing trails and to so many winter hiking routes. There is even a small ski lift and ski school in our village. There are also ski hire places in the immediate vicinity. And if you prefer tobogganing to skiing, check out the bob-sleigh run in Taisten. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Tips for skiing enthusiasts

The mountains of Helm, Rotwand, Stiergarten and Haunold are really recommended for a skiing holiday in the Pustertal Valley that is full of variety. Since the winter of 2015 the two skiing mountains of Helm and Rotwand have been linked by a ski lift - limitless skiing fun guaranteed.
The Sextner Dolomiten and Kronplatz skiing region also belong to Europe’s largest skiing association, Dolomiti Superski. With just one ski pass you have access to 12 skiing areas in the middle of the Dolomites. Are you ready for your skiing holiday in the Pustertal Valley?
